Makkum : Accommodation Hus is a nice appartment: 55 square meters, suitable for 4 persons and for 6 persons in case you place extra beds on one of the bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a huge living room, a kitchen and a separate toilet. Through a hall you reach the spacious living room with view of the attached barn; there is an own entrance to the terrace. The accommodation has been furnished in a special way. The wooden floor, the traditional panelling, the original stable windows and the 40 cm thick ceiling beams remind the accommodation of the specific atmosphere of an old Frisian farm. The kitchen has everything which you are used to at home. Logement Hus has 2 spacious bedrooms with a wash basin. If you like you can rent the extra bedroom "Heerenkamer". This is the master bedroom. In Summer the huge windows ensure enough cooling besides the fact that they offer a lot of light and a lovely view of the garden and the village. Logement Hus is one of the 4 comfortable apartments of the antique farm in Idsegahuizum, one of the “suburbs” of Makkum (2 minutes by car). The antique farm is not a purely commercial enterprise. The apartments are bigger and especially suitable for groups. The maximum capacity is 28 persons. The accommodation may be an antique farm, the apartments are provided with comfort such as: a microwave, an over, a dish washer, two professional barbecues, washing- and dry facilities and central heating. Bicycles are available. Each apartment has its own terrace with plenty of chairs. Cars are parked on a private parking place. Especially for kids the antique farm is small paradise.
